Corrections to the FIRST (original) 2009 edition of Flying on You Own Wings (Blue cover):
Apart from several obvious spelling and layout errors, the following corrections were made to the second edition of the book. Owners of a first edition copy should correct the following:
Page 49 (bottom of page): “The unit of length… symbolized by m. One km represents the
ten thousandth part of…”
Page 196 (middle of page): Replace “R1” by “R2” on left side, and “R2” by “R1” on the
right (next to diagram).
Page 206: Standard Bolts (top of page): Replace 48 by 4.8 and 63 by 6.3.
Page 232: V-n diagram: Correct VA to 164 km/h.
Page 237 (middle of page): Replace “bearing load” and “bearing stress” to “bearing ..........................................pressure”.
Page 244: (middle of page): Replace “k’ = .46” by “K’ = .46 (see page 185)”
